* Leisure Journey Update *
Way to Cameron Highlands week ago.
A Malaysia' tourist spot which we always heard of.
Shamed, cause this would be my first touch down in this nature ground.
Cameron Highlands is about Pearl Corn, Tomatoes, Sweet Potatoes and lots of vegetables.
Our time, this higher ground is about hiking and exploration for me (newbie).
-Mossy Forest-
We went there twice in our 3D2N trip.
First day, we travel all the uncertain road UP to the entrance.
It was foggy once we reach there, in all sudden.
A short walk in the forest along the well build wooden bridge to lead the way.
Found that there was a link way to the jungle trek, but we never try cause we do not know where the road link to.
-Gunung Brinchang-
Gunung Brinchang is actually a few steps away from Mossy Forest.
A way down till you reach the Tower Point.
We went up the trekking route from Trail 1 to Gunung Brinchang, which it links direct to the tower.
About the route.
It was steep up from the beginning of the trek.
Therefore, it will be a push up in the beginning to balance further rhythm.
*take a breath and move on*
The trek is muddy and slippery due to the raining caused.
Though, there are a lot of branches which you may hold as the support.
Tips:
1. Remember to be in full suit of sport wear/hiking outfit. (preferably long pants)
2. Water / Light Foods support.
3. Basic medication in case of any emergency.
4. Do not fear to be muddy. =)
5. "Walk Slow, and Explore the Living Species in the Jungle."
6. View from the TOWER look up point is a MUST!
Notes:
1. To be exact, TRAIL 1 located next to the old military area next to Night Market. Opposite Brinchang Police Station.
Direction from Tanah Rata: Night Market -> Old Military -> Turn Left (You will have to walk through a distance of normal road before you reach the entrance point of TRAIL 1.
2. We walked down to the night market (origin point) from Gunung Brinchang via the main road. You may catch up a cab if you wish to travel back by vehicle.
